Worth the trip
Posted on Saturday 29 August, 2009I have to say to for those that were not able to attend – it is worh the trip. I had a few problems with leaving behind the office but if and when the conference is in our area again I would definately make the journey. My two travel companions (volunteers) were quite impressed with what they were able to do and learn.
I will be excited to compile my ideas and present it to the fundraising, membership, volunteer and grant writing committee, which mostly consist of me but for some reason when I have it in writing it seems more like a real goal to work on to improve our programs and organization.
