StEPs Standards Program

AASLH's new Standards and Excellence Program for History Organizations (StEPs) is a self-study program that encourages awareness and achievement of national standards.

The program, created by AASLH with funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, uses self-assessment questions and performance indicators (Basic, Good, and Better) to rate your organization's policies and practices in six standards areas. Although the program's target audience is small- and mid-sized museums, historic houses, sites, and other organizations, it is open to institutions of all sizes. Join us for this free, one-hour webinar to learn more about the program and the many ways it can benefit your organization. The webinar will be conducted by Cherie Cook, AASLH Senior Program Manager.

Participation in the webinar is free, but pre-registration is required to reserve a virtual seat. Please complete the form below, and select the date of the session you plan to attend. The webinar will last approximately 1 hour. If you plan on participating as a group from one computer, you need only register one person.
