Entrance, Exit, Emphasis and movement effects will be discussed in conjunction with how to design an exciting WBT splash screen and course main menu. Specific techniques for adding audio, video and a Flash object player will be demonstrated with lab opportunities for participants. A wide range of engaging PowerPoint learning activities including games, triggers and role focus simulations will be demonstrated with design tips. Packaging and deployment issues will be explored including PowerPoint, HTML, Flash and Impactica formats. Each participant will have an opportunity to prepare a short WBT PowerPoint lesson and deploy this lesson using an LMS system as a final project.
