Founded in 1914 by an anonymous benefactor, Regis
High School offers a tuition free Jesuit college preparatory education
to Roman Catholic young men from New York metropolitan area who demonstrate
superior intellectual and leadership potential.
Through its relationship with the Center
for Technology and School Change at Columbia University, LearningTimes is
working with Regis High School to expand their use of distance learning
technologies in the teaching of foreign languages and other disciplines,
and in connecting with remote schools. An online community area produced
by LearningTimes supports ongoing teacher and student activities,
including dialogues with distant experts and remote peers.
