Users of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) are
youth who have had intensive, ongoing experiences with technology,
usually beginning early in life - resulting in a level of comfort
that allows them to bypass many traditional learning systems.
Teams of these outstanding young "Power Users" from
Latin America, Australia, Europe, Africa, the USA, China and
the Philippines will demonstrate their 21st Century digital
communications skills for leaders from the industry, education,
and research communities during the first Power
Users of ICT Online Symposium held “live” over the internet
August 8-10, 2005.
