Troy Smythe Troy values designed learning experiences that address the whole mind, including specifically the socio-emotional needs or learners. His work at the Dallas Museum of Art and the Indianapolis Museum of Art specifically addressed these topics as they related to docents and teachers. As an independent consultant, Smythe is interested in exploring the adaptive nature of museum educators and the way their skills operate within museum environments.

The goal of this working session will be to discuss and articulate a set of shared values with regard to writing for and by museum docents.
