This pre-conference workshop with Dane Ward will explore theories of organizational culture and the benefits and challenges that result from different approaches to "doing your job". How do those leading an organization identify the culture of their workplace and use it to thrive particularly on projects that require a spectrum of expertise.

Ward is Associate Dean of Public Services at the Illinois State University’s Milner Library. He is also
co-editor and co-author of The Collaborative Imperative: Librarians and Faculty Working Together in the Information Universe (ACRL).
