"Walkthrough" Webcast

Description: For the seventh year in a row, teams will be “walking through” New York City’s public schools to assess building readiness and help prepare schools for the beginning of the new school year. This year, the walkthroughs will take place during the week of August 24th – September 4th. To train the 2009 walkthrough surveyors, the NYCDOE Core Curriculum office conducted web-based meetings in order to explain the 2009 Walkthrough survey questions and online submission process. The webcasts offered step-by-step instructions for how to conduct the walkthroughs, as well as a live demonstration of the much improved online Walkthrough application.
