Thank you for setting up your username and password for the ALA Virtual Conference Community!
You now have access to the member-only areas of the site, including the live sessions, recordings, and the online discussion forums. We have just sent you an email with a reminder of the user account information you created and some instructions for the conference. (The email will come from help@learningtimes.net, so be sure your junk mail filter is set to let it through.)
The "Live Online Sessions" page is the main hub of the online conference site. From there you can access all of the presentations and discussions. Here are a few quick tips to get you started and to help you have a great conference experience:
The "Tech Check" will help confirm that your computer is ready to connect to the Elluminate Live v9 platform that will be used for the live sessions. It will also help you test and configure your audio (speakers/headphones and microphone). Try it now!
At the time of each live session, visit the "Live Online Sessions" page found in the top navigation of every page. From there, access any live presentation. As recordings of live sessions are made available the top navigation will also list “Recorded Sessions” for easy access. Don’t forget that included in every session page is a discussion forum. Don’t forget that all sessions will be listed in the four major US timezones, but if you need additional timezone information you can always consult Time&Date.com.
